These Tibetan prayer flags bring color, meaning, and a gentle spiritual atmosphere to your garden, practice room, yoga studio, or meditation space.

The string consists of ten cotton flags in the traditional colors blue, white, red, green, and yellow. Images and mantras are printed on each flag. Within the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, the flags are hung in a high place outdoors. As the wind moves through them, the prayers and positive intentions are symbolically released into the environment.

The five colors are traditionally associated with the five elements:

• Blue – space and sky
• White – air and wind
• Red – fire
• Green – water
• Yellow – earth

Due to sun, rain, and wind, the colors will fade over time. This natural process is part of the tradition and symbolizes, among other things, impermanence and the letting go of intentions.

Preferably hang the string freely and a bit higher, so the flags can move in the wind. Make sure the flags do not touch the ground. For example, choose a spot on the balcony, in the garden, near a window, or in a quiet practice or meditation room.

The flags are made of cotton. Discoloration and wear due to weather influences are therefore natural and part of their appearance.
