The 70 cm Earth Tone Gong is a powerful and characterful instrument for sound healing, meditation, ceremonies, and relaxing sound sessions.

Unlike many glossy gongs, this gong is deliberately unpolished. The dark, rough surface shows how the gong emerges from its mold and gives each piece an authentic, earthy appearance.

This difference is also audible in the sound. The gong opens calmly, maintains a deep tone, and develops soft, ethereal overtones. It builds up to a harsh crash less quickly than, for example, a Wind Gong. This allows you to carefully build up the intensity and work with the instrument both subtly and powerfully.

Because each gong is handmade, color, texture, and small imperfections may differ from the image. Small bubbles or pits in the surface are a natural result of the casting process. They are not damage and do not adversely affect the sound or lifespan.

The gong comes with a suitable gong mallet, so you can experience it immediately. A gong stand and protective bag are not included as standard.

Hang the gong completely freely on a sturdy and suitable gong stand. Strike gently at first and give the bronze enough time to resonate. By calmly playing different areas of the surface, you will discover new fundamental and overtones.

Gradually build up the intensity. The power of a gong comes not only from playing harder, but primarily from rhythm, timing, and conscious listening.

Do not place the gong directly next to someone's ear and keep sufficient distance when playing more powerfully.
