7 Tips on NLP by Corinne

Hi, I'm Corinne! I've been working as a Mindset Coach since 2020. My mission is to inspire as many people as possible to get the most out of life.

Here are 7 tips to help you experience more happiness and satisfaction in everyday life.

1. Your thoughts create your reality. Be aware of what you're thinking! Positive thoughts create positive situations and more enjoyable interactions with others.

2. Our brains work with associations. If you think you're having a bad day, the mental drawer of all the things you find annoying opens, and you'll experience more of them. If you set the intention in the morning to have a good day, you'll see more beautiful and pleasant things around you and feel better as a result.

3. The human brain likes to seek confirmation of what we already "know." If you believe everything will go wrong and envision doomsday scenarios, things will inevitably go wrong (if you even dare to consider them). If you believe you will succeed and play out future success scenarios every morning and before you go to sleep, your brain will do everything it can to confirm this idea. You'll encounter people who will give you the information you need and recognize opportunities.

4. With your mental power, you can reframe unpleasant events from the past. What would you do differently with the knowledge you have now? Imagine experiencing the same situation with more peace, confidence, and experience. Mentally go back in time and reframe the situation in your memory. Let yourself grow up again with the feeling the new situation gave you.

5. If you're not feeling confident or strong right now, you can mentally travel to the future and imagine that you've already overcome all the problems you're currently facing. How does this older, wiser version of you approach life? Bring this feeling into the present and view your obstacles from this new perspective.

6. Besides being plagued by unpleasant events from our own past, we also possess emotional DNA containing the traumas of our ancestors. Traumatic events alter our hormone balance, which is passed on as a warning signal to our descendants to keep us alive. However, if we are unaware of this, we can experience traumatic experiences from our ancestors as unexplained fatigue, stress, nervousness, anxiety, depression, etc. Delve into your family history and try to show love and compassion to your ancestors who struggled. This will help you release this burden.

7. As humans, we're never "finished." Every day we learn and grow, moving one step closer to our dreams. Allow yourself this process. Give yourself patience and compassion during this journey and trust that you'll end up exactly where you're meant to be. Everything happens for a reason, and every challenge makes you stronger.
